Steps to Configure Customer Account Scope in Magento 2:

1. Login to Magento 2 admin panel

2. Navigate to Stores > Settings > Configuration

3. Select the Customer Configuration under the Customers section.

4. Expand Account Sharing Options section

5. In Share Customer Accounts in Magento 2, select Per Website or Global based on your business requirement.

   1. Global – Select this option to share customer account information with every website and store in the Magento 2 installation.

   2. Per website – Select this option to limit customer account information to the website where the account was created.

6. Click Save Config
